Luxecryo: Next generation full-body cryotherapy
With the natural health and wellbeing benefits ranging from pain relief, post operation recovery, muscle rehabilitation and improving immune system to body weight control and revitalising skin tone, and complexion, the market for full-body cryotherapy is growing. Up until recently the world of cryotherapy relied on cumbersome and expensive nitrogen-based systems to deliver and sustain the optimum ultra-low temperatures required. Using patented ultra-low temperature refrigeration technology, Luxecryo is aiming to revolutionise this industry. Their systems are much more practical, easy to assemble and install, safer, intuitive and more cost-effective to run.
The client approached us to create a new identity and application style for Luxecryo to help promote these core product benefits, and included some very specific requests – we were not allowed to use blue tones, as everyone else in this market does, and they were keen for us to embed some graphic elements from their existing touchscreen control interface.
During our research phase we discovered that the magic of experiencing a full-body cryotherapy session occurs due to your body going through a rapid change in temperature – from room temperature, to extreme cold (up to -120 degrees celsius) and back to normal again in a matter of minutes. It’s this rapid temperature change which causes your body to react, releasing a cocktail of hormones and energy, which in turn stimulates circulation and blood flow. We captured the essence of this process within our visual application style by creating a colour palette which ranged from cool aqua and green tones through to warmer hues of red and purple. Applied in a series of blurred colourful vignette backgrounds, which also helped to reinforce the feeling of cold / frosted. This colour palette was combined with a defined logotype which included a core element from the client’s touchscreen interface in place of the last letter ‘O’.
To date we have applied the Luxecryo brand to a wide range of assets including a promotional moving media sequence, an initial one page website, stationery items, presentation template and swatch style promotional brochure.
